Are your courses hands-on?
We believe that you cannot really learn a topic unless you have hands-on experience. Our online courses are interactive with an instructor available to answer any questions and a learning kit to gain real hands-on experience.
Where is your company located?
We are located in the city of El Paso, TX. Our main focus is to provide our services locally, but we can also provide services for other areas in the USA. Just contact us at contact@qinmotion.com
Can students outside of the USA attend your courses ?
The short answer is not at this moment. Our courses include kits that are shipped to the students. We cannot currently ship these kits internationally.
What is the "q" in q in motion?
q is often used in physics as a symbol for the charge of the electron.
q in motion refers to electrons in action, producing all of the incredible technology that surrounds us every day.
What equipment is necessary for your online courses?
We use Zoom for our online courses. You will need a computer connected to the Interenet with a webcam and microphone to join. A tablet or cell phone may work for some classes, but the smaller screen may not produce a good experience.
Because you may have to show your work to the instructor, integrated cameras in laptops do not work well, and an autofocus webcam is required for best experience. This one is a good option for about $20.
A webcam holding arm or tripod can be convenient to hold the camera pointing at your work hands free.
